Nestled in the North of Qatar, Fuwairit Kite Beach, Tapestry Collection by Hilton serves as a uniquely dedicated kite surfing resort. FKB enfolds its visitors with a sense of escape from a busy city and an opportunity to recharge through sport, all while enjoying many facilities and ancillary services which the resort is offering. Upon arrival, the visitors are welcomed by a large lobby and an all-day dining area. A capacious storage facility for members and non-members is located on the beach front for easy guest access while the first floor holds instructors’ offices and a multi-use viewing platform for sponsored events.

An elliptical pool overlooking the beach provides a unique mixture of tranquil escapist sensations interwoven with the feelings of recreation and adventure. Such feelings are emphasized by the careful curation of the artworks, which were designed by local artists who repurposed flip flops to create colorful sculptures of various animals, adding character to the resort. Relaxation is further emphasized by the presence of a yoga pavilion and an outdoor cinema.

A general laid-back rustic look and feel are used for the design narrative throughout and the finest of details in signage and wayfinding have been scrutinized by the design team. Beach houses and room unites are designed in two distinctive color themes.

Opened in October 2022, the hotel is currently operated by Hilton and serves as a paradise for kitesurfing enthusiasts thanks to its natural lagoon, warm water, and constantly ideal wind.  The design of FKB aims to provide an adventuristic break from everyday life and allow visitors to feel both re-energized and relaxed at the same time.
