Individual

Furthermore, on an individual level, Ibrahim M. Jaidah was presented with the State Encouragement Award from the State of Qatar in 2005, for his work in the field of architecture. The State Encouragement Award, supervised by The Ministry of Culture and Arts, is awarded to distinguished and promising researchers and innovators.

Qatar is known for its efforts to preserve history and heritage of the nation. The banknotes are no exception as they not only represent the official currency of the country but also showcase the country’s proud history and development in architecture, culture, education, sports and economy. The elements displayed are highly selective, but our projects have been shown on three generations of banknotes, which attests to our company’s proud efforts to preserve heritage through incorporation of traditional elements in our architecture.

Our project Ministry of Finance was shown on one riyal note from 1981.

Al Shaqab was shown on 100 Riyals note, which got replaced in 2020 by new generation of banknotes.

Element of doors from the State Mosque are shown on every banknote in circulation from the end of 2020.
