Qatari Architect, Ibrahim Mohamed Jaidah, designed the iconic decorative light poles which beautify the streets of Corniche, one of the main roads in Doha, Qatar. The installation of 1440 lights were completed at the end of 2022. The light poles were installed along 10 kilometers from Ras Abu Aboud flyover to the traffic light nearby Sheraton Doha.

The design of the light poles is inspired by the palm fronds which reflect the Qatari landscape. The
light poles were manufactured locally by Lighting Design Company using local raw materials and LED strips highlight the contours of the design during the night.
