Inspired by Al Jasassiya site, Ibrahim Jaidah, has designed a collection of carpets that harnesses the heritage of pearl diving through translating the rock carvings into a cultural narrative. The individual carpets depict the various types of dhows in profile and top views with minimal abstracted details.

Each carpet has been named according to the cultural terminology that these illustrations connate.

The story concludes with the statement piece where all the individual boats are portrayed in a scene, which marks the return of the pearl divers; a celebrated occasion that is culturally called Al Guffal. Al Jasassiya carpet collection praises and celebrates these unique rock carvings that offer a bridge to the history of the land and its people.
