Residential Complex at Foxhills

Lusail, Qatar

The design sets out to create a dynamic impact at cityscape level on three joint plots. Its architectural form consists of three residential buildings 2B + G + 4F with a multipurpose hall, gym, children’s play area, and other facilities. Overall built up area is 40,370m² with 170 apartment units of various sizes.

The buildings are positioned with a minimal setback from the street in order to create a strong urban presence. From the exterior, buildings display accessibility at pedestrian level and are both an expression of openness to the site and a desire to bring the outside environment into the internal spaces through an interactive landscape, pool and children’s play area.

The lightness and grace of the forms, delicate classical elevation treatment, and intermittent play of light and shadow all help create a unique living space.
